CAREER REVIEW:
Working presently with Celebrity Fashions Ltd., as a Textile / Fashion Designer, since Jan'05. My job involves in cordination with the Designers/Product Developers, who work with different buyers. Designing involves mainly on shirting fabrics (Y/dyed stripes, Plaids & printed). Also on Ladies top/fabrics.
Profile involves development of CAD for all the US & European buyers.
Have a successful strike rate of 80% on our own developed designs with all the buyers, specifically with buyers like Marlboro & Academy, we have a strike rate of 90%. Work involves from designing cads, presentation and development of actual deskloom in coordination with the fabric sourcing team and Product Developers.
We work for different buyers such as, Academy, Kohls, Eddie Bauer, Marlboro,Diesel, Timberland, Landsend, Gramicci, JCPenny, Marks & Spencer, Armani exchange, etc.
Achievements in Celebrity:
The below listed achievements are purely based on our own developments for different seasons and buyer specific. The CAD's were developed based on the market feedback and then presented to the buyer, wherein on their selection and as per their colour choice, developed the same along with desklooms, further to which the following bussiness were achieved.(order qnty of miinimum 20000pcs per style).

Worked as a Textile designer & Asst. production manager. Maclord, is a textile exporting firm, mainly into shirtings fabrics. Key role involved in designing and looking into the initial developments of the fabric to get the designs set right.

Norita is a design consultant firm providing textile designs to various fabric export and domestic firms, as well for garment manufacturing firms. Key role was to devlop desingns as per clients suggestion and season trends.
